The Has Been Players is a cover band with a large variety of musicals styles, going from rock to funk through reggae, folk, and French music: James Brown, Blur, Led Zeppelin, The Police, Bob Marley, Jamiroquai, Beatles etc....

The band was formed at the Music Academy International in Nancy, France in 2015.
Composed of 4 young professionnal musicians, coming from different musical horizons, who learned how to mixed up all this diversity to create The Has Been Players ! :

 On electric guitar and singing for the French songs, we have "Julien Redcandles". He attracted attention because of his particular stance which playing furious guitar solos, which impressed his classmates. Before that, Julien had gained  experience by playing his original songs in bars and festivals. It was cool ... but now, it's even cooler cause he plays with The Has Been Players !

 "Isis Brown" on bass and singing has the Groove in her blood. Why? Her far, far descent from the King of Funk. You guessed it... She has played a bit everywhere on the roads and under the bridges of the world, from America to Asia, before to come back to Middle Earth and join The Has Been Players with her sound and energy.

 "Antonin WaterShine" on electric guitar and dancing steps. He started performing very young in a musical play called "Broadway Melody". At that time he was already a god of dance floor. He knows how to make us forget our struggles of everyday life when he starts playing the guitar, and offers us his crazy dance moves, that only he can make unforgettable!

 On drums and singing , the model, the most megalomaniac of Earth... we call : "Maxime Winter". This cheerful fellow  started by playing the flute in the musical conservatory, this well educated fellow finally become a little 6’3” Punk, gifted to make noises on drums. After changing his hair colour many times, he calmed down and became part of the Music Academy International singing lullabies to his classmates.

After many concerts through France and other countries in the last 4 years, the band like to now come overseas to meet you !
The Has Been Players put on a great show with humour, funny costumes and choreography. They like to share joy, good mood and spirit and make you participate to the show !
